TUG successes were recognised twice in 1999:

• An award from the Canadian Association of University Business Officers for the development of an innovative web service for statistical data users, The TriUniversity Group Data Resources (TDR) Service.
  
  
• The Ontario Library Information Technology Association 1999 award for Technological Innovation for the TRELLIS Project. TRELLIS is the integrated online catalogue of the University of Guelph, the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University libraries.
